The Fork in the Road

We Americans are at a fork in the road. Which path do we decide to take? Do we head down the path we are on? The path of big government, federal mandates, loss of freedoms and liberties? Or do we take the other path? The familiar one. The one that our founders paved and gave us the tools to maintain and repair so we could travel on it with ease. The path of Freedom! Our founding fathers understood that evil looms around every corner. So when they created our government they established safeguards, and checks and balances. Now, more then ever, Americans are waking up.
In the past five years there has been an assault on the American people. The Bill of Rights is being taken away from us. Rights that government has no jurisdiction over nor the authority to take from the people. These rights of the people are endowed from our creator at birth, not granted to us by government or man. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and up to and including the 28th Amendments are being stripped away from us by authoritative bureaucrats. People who are run by the Federal Bank and by big corporations. Neither of these are for and of the people, but instead, they are poisoning us and plunging us deeper and deeper into financial ruin.
If we as Americans believe in these rights, how is it possible to let the Fed create laws like the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which strips Americans of due process of law. To have the National Security Agency (NSA) which spies on every American. This is something as Americans we should be fighting and standing up against. These pieces of legislation should have never even been considered by the people we elect to make laws in our name.
Not so far in our past we have seen a country create similar laws, it was in Nazi Germany! How did that work for the millions of people who were stripped of their basic rights, and put on trains that eventually led to their deaths. How can our government implement laws like the Affordable Care Act and then exempt themselves from participating in it! Are we still even living in America? It feels more like the “United Stasi of America” in my opinion. This isn’t the land of the free and home of the brave, or is it?
The giant is awakening from his slumber. We are at a pivotal time in our nation’s history. It is our duty as Americans to see through the lies and propaganda our government and the controlled media are telling us. It is our job to make informed decisions as Americans and stand up for our rights, to fight for our rights, to exercise our rights! To remain silent is to consent to the lawlessness and the removal of our freedoms. It is our duty to stand up, resist, and not comply to any law or mandate that imposes any restriction on our freedoms. Rights are not gifts from governments. The time is now! The power resides in the people. It’s time to get up off the couch, unplug from our electronics, get outside and talk to our neighbors and make a difference.
