To the Editor:
We all have been dealing with the bitter cold weather the past two weeks. Frozen water pipes, sewer lines and frozen spirits have become common events in our daily living. For nine days, the deep freeze affected my living space and water, a basic need for survival, did not flow. Showering became a distant memory; the wind and very low temperatures hindered any relief.
The Ocean City Community Center (OCCC) opened their facility to those in need, making hot showers available, everyday if needed. It was such a blessing to take a hot shower and shave. Thank you OCCC for helping the community.
OCCC is also hosting ‘Fridays with Friends,’ and ‘come hang out’ activities are planned for grades 8-12 at 7 p.m. Come enjoy pizza, karaoke, self defense, XBOX, swimming, ping pong and Wally ball.
For more information call 525-9317 or email lrumer@ocnj.us, or find officer Jenn in school.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
