To the Editor:
We (senior citizens and Social Security recipients) all need to be calling our Congressman Frank LoBiondo and our United States Senators Bob Menendez and Cory Booker about our raise for 2017 and let them know “thanks for the 0.3 percent — it sucks.”
As for myself, after my Medicare and Prescription Drug Plan, I ended up with a $5.70 loss for last year (2016).
If you don’t call, this is going to keep happening to us every year.
What happened to our cost of living raise? I thought that they were going to start helping us out. Sure…
