To the Editor:
I read Al Campbell’s article on Route 55 in the Herald and just had to voice my 2 cents.
My wife, grandson, I and a friend came down to go to a campground and our main reason was to see the monster trucks. We’ve been coming down to Wildwood for probably 20 years now. We love it down there but like a lot of places you have to deal with traffic.
Last year I think it was worse. But rebuilding Route 55 to make it four-lane to Rio Grande would be a very good idea.
Routes 47 and 347 are decent roads but so outdated. Even when you do rebuild Routes 55, 47, and 347 it will be outdated when it is built but to have traffic stop on a four-lane then bumper to bumper for miles like that is ridiculous.
By the way, we had a good time in your part of the world and now we are back in ours.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
