To The Editor:
Bill Sturm is the best choice for Middle Township Committee. Of the three candidates, only Sturm can serve the people, truly independent of any boss.
Tim Donohue is only running because his brother, Mike Donohue, the Republican county chairman and already the solicitor in Lower Township, asked him to run so that he could get some of the legal work in Middle Township.
If Tim Donohue is elected, don’t you think he is going to listen to his brother?
Steve Russell is not an independent. He has been a registered Republican for many years. He asked to run as a Republican this year, and they said “no, we are picking the boss’s brother.” So now Russell is running as an alleged Independent because he is an unhappy Republican. He also has the support of the Democrat mayor and deputy mayor. Steve Russell is a Republican indebted to the Democrat bosses.
Sturm is a working man. He is running as a Democrat without Democrat boss support. He will not owe anything to anyone. He is the only candidate who offers real independent leadership.
