To the Editor:
Tolerance, the mantra of the political correct, now permeates our country. The purpose of this anti-Christian, freedom-destroying movement, is to chill churches, frighten politicians and censor free speech. Government replaces God and common sense is obsolete. The hypocrisy of tolerance was exposed in the pro-life Tim Tebow Super Bowl ad where the proposed champions of women’s choice turn out to be the staunchest advocates of censorship. Despite the odds, this Heisman trophy winner’s mother chose what science has already proven…life, which begins at conception.
Another bait and switch tactic of the politically correct is embryonic stem cell research which has failed to produce any cures, and has even been responsible for causing dangerous tumors. President Obama, by executive order, used millions of taxpayer dollars to extend embryonic stem cell research by overturning the limits put in place by President Bush. Supporters are now embracing what they once opposed, adult stem cell research which has proven to be successful without any moral baggage.
President Obama’s disastrous Soviet style healthcare bill has subsidized the abortion lobby with at least $7 billion, forcing taxpayers to underwrite the cost of abortion. Fortunately, Gov. Chris Christie has proposed eliminating $7.4 million of funding for Planned Parenthood, one of the largest abortion providers, in his 2011 state budget. Although New Jersey’s economy is on the brink of bankruptcy, our legislators, Van Drew, Albano, and Milam, passed bills to reinstate the funding to Planned Parenthood, which was vetoed by Christie.
Let’s put an end of the absurdity of funding an industry which is being investigated for fraudulent Medicaid billing while making billions in profit from death and suffering. Taxpayers should be outraged and should urge our legislators to oppose any misguided efforts to override Christie’s veto.
What kind of country teaches that prayer is wrong, but the killing of over 52 million future taxpaying citizens throughout the entire nine months of pregnancy is right. Stop the march on death and join the National Life Chain, Sun., Oct. 3 from 2-3 p.m. in Rio Grande.

Cape May – The number one reason I didn’t vote for Donald Trump was January 6th and I found it incredibly sad that so many Americans turned their back on what happened that day when voting. I respect that the…
