‘Sen. Menendez, You Are Just Plain Wrong!’

By Horn

To The Editor,
In response to the letter from Sen. Robert Menendez:
1. “Disagreements on issues is healthy in a democracy, but questioning the motives and integrity of those with whom we disagree is just plain wrong,” Menendez wrote. No, it is not. I have seen his demeanor on national TV. He won’t listen to anyone nor will he allow them to speak. He is “just plain wrong.
2. “His perspective of business of the government “is people, their lives, hopes and dreams.” He’s wrong again. Government needs to leave the lives of the American people alone. Live and implement the Constitution. Let the people live our God-given right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness!
3. Paragraph 3, Wrong again. Small business is smart enough not to borrow money that they cannot afford to pay back.
4. Wrong again. Tax relief from 14 months of the Obama Administration, record spending and a $3 trillion debt does not create tax credit, relief or incentive. It creates more tax.
Solar equipment for manufacturing jobs and clean energy economic sector etc., equals CAP and Trade and that equals huge tax. Obviously questioning motives and integrity is totally right. He us wrong. (Has he forgotten that it is the voting public’s right and duty to question our elected servants?
5. Paragraphs five and six, plain wrong. This Obama, Pelosi, Reid health take over will cost more and more and much more money. Not everyone is sick. Not everyone is in the hospital. No one in this country is ever denied care in a hospital. We will be now. Many of us pay out of pocket for what we need and want. We will be forced to pay for what is unconstitutional. Government take over; Menendez. knows it. Yes, his motive and integrity must be questioned. Whether he answers honestly is another issue. (By the way what did Mr. Obama say to you on your one-on-one days before the healthcare vote?)
6. He questions Art Hall about calling him. I don’t know about him, but my experience has been no one answers, line busy, or mail box full.
7. Hall is not alone to assume that elected officials are unaware of the plight of the people that they represent. Menendez is aware and he choses to ignore the wishes and directives of the people. Just as our president, madame speaker etc., etc., Congress and Senate do. If we were truly a government of the people, by the people and for the people, we would not be in this mess. Menendez is aware of what families are going through. He and the other blind eyes and deaf ears of our so-called “democracy” don’t know. He doesn’t look or listen. Let alone he knows of “every “family. Get real.
8. As far as his last paragraph, I highly suggest that he reads the book by Mark Levin, “Liberty and Tyranny.”
I applaud Art Hall, to have structured his column to “convey” the widely held degree of discontent with government, particularly the federal government as being evermore distant and regal.
Wake up, Americans! They want us to be evermore distant so that they can rule and be regal while we must bow down. This is not what our Forefathers intended. This is what they fought to abolish. Let us not allow this to happen to the United States of America, “One Nation Under God, Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.”
God Bless America.
