Republicans are Terrorists

To the Editor:
When I talk about the Republican Party anymore (including our Congressman Frank LoBiondo), I have come to the conclusion that many progressives are coming to also. They are terrorists!
A terrorist is someone who will do what they do for one reason, to make you take their side of an argument. Some are religious and others are about them (the terrorists) getting the power they want.
While some terrorists use weapons such as airplanes or bombs, the Republicans are using the economy as their tool of fear! They are willing to drive this country down an economic path of austerity that has ruined economies in Greece and Italy amongst other countries.
One thing that makes LoBiondo and the rest of the G.O.P. different from the other terrorists is that the ones who use “conventional” weapons usually die from their acts. The Republican terrorists actually are getting rich for their deeds. With people like the Koch brothers, Sheldon Adelson and Harold Simmons donating millions of dollars to make sure that their views are the only ones that are heard.
When you have a man like Speaker of the House John Boehner (third in line to the presidency) say that he would rather kill himself than raise the minimum wage, then cut funding for food stamps and refuse to extend unemployment benefits it shows that it is more about the big money from people like Doug McMillon (President and CEO of Walmart) than about the working man or woman.
Then you have a man like Senator Ted Cruz who actually shut down the federal government rather than pay the bills that had already accrued or allow millions of people get health insurance! That is terrorism at its worst.
It is not only about the money that Congressman LoBiondo and the rest of the GOP are doing this for (although money is the main reason) they will use their religion to force their values on everyone. Mind you that the first amendment of the constitution makes sure that there is no official religion for our great country, that will still try and use their religion to run my life.
It is time for the progressives and, to use a word that some people deem as offensive; liberal Americans have to stand up and make sure these terrorists, stop their trashing of our constitution and come back to the America that our founding fathers envisioned.
