I would think that residents of Cape May, West Cape May and Cape May Point have seen the articles in several news print about the New Jersey Run for the Fallen held Sept. 26th to the 29th. What I for one have not seen is, as a proud member of, any mention of Cape May VFW Post 386 and American Legion Post 193 having members posted at every mile marker from the Cape May Lighthouse to the base of the bridge to Wildwood Crest. We were very proud to pay honor to each of the New Jersey fallen and the Gold Star Mothers.
I feel it is important that the great work of these local organizations consisting of veterans of every era from WWII to present day be included with everyone else that are mentioned.
