Reader Talks Back To Unaware Spouter

By RUZILLA

To The Editor:
I am writing in response to the uninformed spouter from Sea Isle City. In the March 24 column, he states “The doctor has been bounced out of SICTA. Now our town will return to normal.”
This is far from true. I am on the Board of SICTA, and the doctor resigned from the presidency for personal reasons. He is still a valuable member of the board, and will still work with SICTA to continue to make Sea Isle City a better community for all.
All real estate taxpayers in Sea Isle were recently mailed a SICTA newsletter. I presume the spouter received one if he is a real estate taxpayer. If he took the time to read it, he would see all the good SICTA, led by the doctor, has done for all the taxpayers of Sea Isle City.
I think it is very unfair that a person can sling mud in Spout Off and not reveal his name. I guess that if it were required to give their name, the Spout Off column would probably lose two-thirds of its participants.
