Reader Applauds Herald for Printing ‘Tattered Towel’

By Webster

To the Editor:
Thank you for publishing the “Tattered Towel” Family Matters column Oct. 24.
The author’s pain from great loss radiated in her words and echoed sentiments that those who have experienced loss know too well.
Loss can be a teacher turning the heart inside out forming a compassionate soul that reads the hearts of the lonely and hurting, and comforts.
May the beautiful spirit who wrote this column be comforted.
