Q&A With 2nd Congressional Candidates Was Excellent

By Denise Long, Wildwood

To the Editor:

I wanted to write and applaud the Herald on publishing the Q&A with the congressional candidates in the June issue. The questions were excellent and focused on real issues unique to the county.

The candidate’s responses allow the reader to clearly see who can understand a problem and develop specific plans for improvement and who cannot. Having the responses in the candidates’ own words provided real insight into their beliefs and attitudes. You can see who can effectively communicate their own strengths and ideas.

Obviously, a few of the candidates can only rely on their perceived past achievements, attacks on our government or their opponents, or bringing up a topic unrelated to the question. Thanks again for sharing great journalism!
