To The Editor:
The President should stop being the “black man” in the “White House.”
Stop accommodating white supremacy and what that stands for. He wants to be like Gandhi? Then, be our people. Gandhi was India. He must be America. The President is the voice of the people. He is the voice of the children, the elderly, the sick, the “tired and the poor.” What is abuse? It is the conscious taking away of our right to be heard, our right to be seen.
America is the country that condones child abuse, what happened to “No Child Left Behind?” What happened to the quality of education for all? And the closing of abortion clinics, isn’t that women abuse? Taking away the right to choose. We are founded on voting through choice and we have, as a nation, chosen him. So be our leader. Stop being the “black man” in the “White house” and be the leader of the Free World.
The President has to step out of his clothes and define himself as leader of America. He has to be America for the people that need to be heard. He have to be America. He was granted the Nobel Prize for peace. Now step into those shoes and be “for the people.”
