To the Editor:
I am an 81-year-old senior citizen. I am writing this letter because many locals have a bad impression of Cape May Regional Medical Center. I want to tell everyone how great this hospital is. It is nothing like Burnett Tomlin.
I was a patient there for 12 days during the end of November and the beginning of December 2014, diagnosed with heart failure and pneumonia.
First – the kitchen is great! The food is wonderful and nothing like other hospitals where you get breakfast, lunch is your dinner, and dinner is lunch. At Cape Regional, you get breakfast and two dinners – one at lunch and one at dinner – you pick from a menu. The food is delicious. The chef must have worked at a fancy restaurant before coming to the hospital.
Second – a housekeeper is a young girl who does the whole third floor rooms and hallways. That’s a lot of work, but she is always smiling and cheerful. She takes the time to talk to you and get you everything you need.
Third – The nurses and student nurses are all wonderful. I had a few that I really cared for, but it wouldn’t be fair to name them (they know who they are) since all are great. They treat you more like family than patients. They are interested in you and listen to you. They’re willing to help in any way they can.
Fourth – all the different departments: heart, lung, therapy, and all the others I can’t remember. The employees are always friendly and willing to help.
Fifth – You know your own doctor is great but so are all the others who come in to visit. I feel like I was staying in a hotel rather than a hospital.
I hope reading this letter will help anyone who might think badly about Cape Regional Medical Center. It is a great hospital. Believe me.
Wildwood – So Liberals here on spout off, here's a REAL question for you.
Do you think it's appropriate for BLM to call for "Burning down the city" and "Black Vigilantes" because…
