Pickleball Courts in Sea Isle City

By Hunter

A writer from Rio Grande recently wrote a letter to the Herald titled “Pickleball The Fastest Growing Sport in America.” I agree and not only is Pickleball becoming the sport for all ages, but most Pickleball games are considered “pick up games.” Individuals show up and join in on a first come-first served basis.
The writer mentioned he only knows Pickleball being played in Avalon and Ocean City. Sea Isle City has two courts for play scheduled for every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. located at Dealy Field Recreation Center Tennis Courts 63rd and Central Ave. Plans are being made to set up instructional/demo dates to introduce the game to individuals unfamiliar with the game.
