To the Editor:
I totally agree with an Aug. 31 spouter who observed how beautiful Central Avenue looks in North Wildwood. A median on Pacific Avenue in Wildwood Crest would have looked great and enhanced property values.
I’m really not sure how this median would somehow have been a safety issue. Has the median on Central Avenue raised accident or fatality rates? It’s a shame part-time residents who pay just as much in taxes as full-time residents could not vote on this issue.
Someday Pacific Avenue will finally be repaved and look like a landing strip. Just what the drivers who continually speed up and down this wide road need is a smoother ride. Talk about safety concerns.
