Offers Advice to Sprint Users With Problems

By Barefoot

To The Editor:
If you are a Sprint cell phone user and live in Middle or Lower townships, you may have noticed some dramatic signal problems. I have been in contact with Sprint and they are working on this issue, however, it is taking longer than expected to repair.
There are two cell phone towers (one in Cape May and one in Erma) that are causing little or no service, or a roaming signal. Sprint is encouraging each customer to pass on the word to have the customer call in and report the problem(s).
They are also working on a case-by-case resolve. Whether it be a discount on a future bill, or otherwise. All Sprint customers are encouraged to call customer service and report any and all signal issues. These issues date from May 3, 2011 to present.
Again, you might be eligible for a discounted rate on your service plan for these inconveniences, but you must live in the “problem area” (Sprint will confirm the address on your service bill). They are encouraging anyone who has had problems to contact customer service by dialing *2 from their cell phone.
