Hello,
I don’t really know where to turn. So, I decided to write you. A black leather backpack containing 4 baseball mitts and some balls was stolen from the 21st Ave. beach on Wednesday, August 11th between 6:00pm & 7:30pm. In the 37 years I have been vacationing here, I have never had anything stolen from the beach. If this happens to get printed and your readers happen to have any information or have found it, please contact or return it to the North Wildwood Police Department on 10th & Atlantic where a report has been filed. Two of the four gloves are 20+ years old and hold sentimental value. My only hope is that once the thief discovered no money or other valuables, they may have discarded the backpack where someone else may have found it. Any help you can give me is appreciated.
Thanks!
Erika Haynal
