Misses Personal Calls

By Betty Lou Masterson

To the Editor:
As a resident of Lower Township, I need to say “I really do miss Mike Voll’s holiday greetings.”
He made personal calls to the township residents, even a Halloween “hello,” “be careful when driving, look out for the trick-or-treaters,” a Thanksgiving “bless you and yours, having family is special, etc.”
Now it is Christmas and I will miss his, “Merry Christmas” or “have a safe holiday.”
Mike even reminded us to check our smoke detectors, check on neighbors in really cold weather, with an added “God bless you” at the end of each call.
I’m thankful for his thoughtfulness.
Thanks Mike, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
