To The Editor:
I just returned home from attending the monthly borough meeting, or whenever the mayor wants to hold one. It was a disgrace. After the usual business is completed, the mike is turned over for the residents to ask questions or make comments. I approached the mike to ask a simple question. My question was directed to the mayor and it was very easy to answer.
My husband and I were outside shoveling after the storm and the mayor and his sidekick, rode by without even stopping to ask if everything was all right. Why?
He starts talking about all the equipment on the street. I stopped him and said, “That is not what I asked you.” He asked me to repeat the question. I repeated the question and he still would not answer. Why wouldn’t he answer? He knew he was wrong.
Another person came up to the mike, and someone in the front row was talking. The mayor yelled, “shut up!” Can you imagine? This is the mayor talking to a grown woman. He could have handled this in a different manner. I believe he thinks he is still the principal of Glenwood School.
Bring on the recall.
