Let’s Debate in Middle Twp.

By Joseph Ravitz, Court House

To the Editor:
One of the most valuable resources a municipality can have is its employees. In the past few months, Middle Township has lost three key employees. At a recent work session, the current administration indicated that they want to curtail employee education and training costs. Many of Middle Township’s current and past employees have benefited from the past administration’s encouragement of advancement through state and various professional association certification and training programs. The residents of Middle Township have also greatly benefited.
This important issue, as well as other problems, makes me question why Mayor Michael Clark has refused to debate with Republican Dan Lockwood and Independent candidate Pat Taylor. Why does he not want to debate? He did not debate the last time he ran for office. Clark should show the voters of Middle Township the respect they deserve.
Let all candidates present their visions for the future of Middle Township.
