To the Editor:
After watching the beautiful funeral service for John McCain in Phoenix, Ariz., one realized that greatness will prevail over evil. McCain didn’t fall for the lies that America needs to be great again because he, like me, believes America was already great.
McCain loved America and realized that the person in the White House is no better than others who eventually passed from the scene.
Vice President Joe Biden and Arizona Cardinals and McCain friend Larry Fitzgerald gave beautiful eulogies and after hearing them speak, one realized that this nightmare which happened to our great country in 2016 will come to an end, even though it might be later than sooner.
McCain was an eternal optimist and he realized that our national nightmare will be over because goodness always prevails over evil.
May Sen. McCain rest in peace. He was a true American hero.
