To The Editor:
Regarding the letter labeled, “Tech Pupil Lauds School Based Services,” I wanted to say congratulations to Amber Johnson for winning the essay contest and collecting a $500 scholarship award from School Based Youth Services (SBYS).
To celebrate our four- year anniversary here at the Technical High School, we held our first essay contest. SBYS is extremely grateful for all of the community support that made the scholarship possible.
Congratulations, Amber from the entire SBYS team. Congratulations also go out to James Ferguson and Katelyn Gold who each won a $50 honorable mention.
