In Response to ‘World Leader’s Must Negotiate’

By McNeill

To the Editor:
In a letter published March 18 titled, “World Leaders Must Negotiate,” the writer refers to Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech to a “gullible” Congress. I submit that the writer’s lack of understanding of the Iranian Mullah’s and the Ayatollah’s suicidal/apocalyptic, Islamist ideology has led her to conclude that negotiations will be productive.
Truth is, Iran has broken every agreement they have made in the past in regard to their determined attainment of a nuclear bomb. Both the Ayatollah and Prime Minister Ahmadinejad adhere to a version of Islam where they feel an apocalyptic event will bring forth the 12th Mahdi and the beginning of the world caliphate. They intend to create that event.
They have repeatedly stated that they would annihilate Israel, which they refer to as the little Satan and the U.S. (big Satan). When they attain enough enriched plutonium to make the bomb, the world will change forever. Prime Minister Netanyahu knows this all to well and Israel’s very existence is on the line. The writer is right about one thing, there will be a response and the world will be turned upside down as millions perish.
The Mullahs have stated repeatedly that while those in the West love life, Muslims love death. They seem validate that on a daily basis. Many high-ranking military Intelligence officers have warned President Obama about this very real threat. He has fired many who have disagreed with his clueless utopian vision. His foreign policy decisions will have long-term consequences that may prove impossible to overcome.
I place my trust in those high-ranking officers and Prime Minister Netanyahu. I would suggest that the writer read the Qur’an and hadith; she may gain some needed perspective.
