To the Editor:
This is in reference to an article in a regional daily paper. It was a rating of area nursing homes.
It was surprising to me that Courthouse Convalscent Center was rated low.
I have a family member who is a resident there since April of this year on the third floor.
The home is always clean. Our family visits every day at different times and feels the staff is friendly and helpful. You can’t let one or two people ruin the whole staff.
They are special people to work there and we are blessed to have people who can do what that staff does.
This means the whole staff, housekeeping, cafeteria workers, therapy, activities, aides, front desk, personnel department and the nurses, everyone. They are great people.
I have visited patients in other nursing homes, so it’s not like I have not seen others.
I just feel the rating was very unfair to this facility and staff.
