To the Editor:
My sister, a recent widow who is recovering from hip replacement surgery, was watching her grandchildren play at the Cape May County Park and Zoo recently when she lost her footing and fell. Two young men were there, also with children, and they watched herstruggle and crawl, in pain, to a bench so she could get support to stand.
Neither of these men offered to help her in her distress. I only hope that if their mothers or any family member ever needs help that someone will be a good Samaritan and offer assistance and not ignore a person in need as they did.
