To The Editor:
My granddaughter, age 7, and I took a ride to Cape May on Sun., Oct. 23 for the Halloween festivities. It was one of the nicest events I ever went to. My granddaughter was in costume and went trick or treating along the mall – everyone was nice.
There wasn’t any pushing; practically all the stores participated. We then went to the park to register for the contest and entered the parade. I had no idea that this was as big as it was. My granddaughter had a ball. This was one of the best-run events I have ever been to. My granddaughter and myself met so many nice people and she had a great time. (She also won a trophy, which just topped off her day.) Thanks so much to the people who organized this event and the residents of Cape May for a great day. See you next year.
