To the Editor:
My family attended the “R-O-O-T-S” Taste of Culture Dinner held Thursday evening March 31, at Wildwood High School.
We thank and commend Mrs. Jones and her organization for a delightful evening. In attendance were many students with their parents. However, we noticed that the administration, faculty and staff were not present to show support.
The abundance of tempting, home-made ethnic food was quite interesting and very delicious. Mrs. Harshaw, assisting Jones, brought one of her ethnic dishes and when we asked for the recipe, she graciously offered it to us.
As proud alumnus of Wildwood High School, I am always talking to people about the school’s activities and events. It was a true showing of community spirit and all involved should be proud.
