I want to compliment the Middle Township Committee on changing the health benefit insurance company administrators by providing a savings of $200,000 to $300,000 in next year’s budget. The employees had some concerns that were unfounded. The health benefit provides the same exact coverage, at the same time their co-pay is reduced.
I strongly suggest to the Middle Township School Board to look at reducing their portion of the budget by $500,000 if they do the same. As taxpayers, we need to look at all the line items that reflect our total tax bill. If any school employee has any concerns, just speak with any Middle Township employee.
