To the Editor:
Did you see the governor dancing recently? Did you think it was cute? He’ll be dancing a different tune soon when the U.S. attorney completes the investigation. Also, in case you missed it, he balanced his state budget on the backs of the public service pension funds.
As for local politics, he offered a grant to Lower Township for the famous sidewalk project. Not a good idea and rejected by the people, even though the council votes 5-0 for the project. This project would have ruined another community had it gone through.
Some people think the governor is presidential material. Think again. He was simply a one-term freeholder in an election he stole and was sued and had to apologize. Furthermore, a contribution was made to Bush (2004) of close to half a million dollars to buy the U.S. attorney’s job. He was totally unqualified for this job also. So many fake moves led him into the governor’s job and the public bought it – hook, line and sinker. Next time, take another look into your phony directory.
The public at large is so often fooled, just go and ask the teachers union or Bruce Springsteen. Looking at the big picture and assuming the guy ever got to Washington, which is highly doubtful. Then he can bring all his New Jersey pols and flunkies that may be indicted then by the U.S. attorney in either New York or New Jersey. His foreign policy attributes amount to walking at the shore for photo-ops.
Aside from throwing folks under the bus, his economic policy is so sad. Didn’t he cancel the federally funded tunnel to New York? An economic and engineering blunder of the highest order. With all kidding aside New Jersey and America, haven’t we made enough blunders in recent years. Wake up, educate yourselves politically and try to salvage what’s left.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
