The spouter who wants Wildwood Crest to be first responder for Diamond Beach is trying to put toothpaste back in the tube. When the hearings for The Grand at Diamond Beach were held, this was brought up repeatedly by residents.
Wildwood Crest went to all hearings and advised Lower Township that they could not and would not be first responder. We, the year-round residents, were ridiculed for raising the issue since “the building would have state-of-the-art” sprinklers.
They wanted it, they got it. It’s too late now to rethink what should have been addressed then. We also raised the issue of water pressure and were told this was never going to be a problem. Guess what? Now there is a lack of water pressure and a tower needs to be built. They can’t just change a county master plan because they see dollar signs. This is the result.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
