In the United States, 301,797 people died as a result of gun violence in the decade ending 2015. Of that number, an average of approximately 1,500 per year was children murdered – a total of some 15,000 young lives destroyed in that 10-year period. The carnage continues to this day. In less than four months of 2017, 1,100 children have been killed or injured.

In one incident alone a few years ago, 20 children were killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre – twice as many as died in the chemical attack. Where is Trump’s outrage? He is silent.
