Dearly Missed

By Francis Meehan, Villas

To the Editor:
The loss of Sam Bradway is felt by many people in our community. There are not enough good words to say about Sam.
Sam conveyed the meaning of Christian in everything he did. Madness was often disintegrated without a vile word.
His stature was big, but his heart was bigger. He could take a bad situation and make it better with his humor, regardless of how he was feeling.
He and his wife, Helena helped a countless amount of people in need and they did it from the heart. They expected nothing in return and their doors were always open.
Sam wore many hats. He was police chief, fireman, farmer, builder, mechanic, and many other things to many people, but the one hat he wore that I would want to wear would be that of the greatest friend anyone could ever encounter.
Sam Bradway lived his selfless life for everyone. He lived every day for God.
While making roads on earth, he paved a smooth road to heaven for himself. I continue to pray to God for Sam and his family. Rest in peace Sam.
