To the Editor:
We live approximately 200 yards form the Wildwood Convention Center and we are subjected to a most obnoxious daily repetitive announcement of events. The recording comes on at 8:05 AM and continues until midnight! Most of the time they are advertising functions that have been completed.
The announcement is repeated all morning and into the late evening. The decibal level exceeds all state laws. Needless to say, do the convention planners really think people are listening? At least play a little music in between instead of the same thing over and over again.
We are homeowners and taxpayers who come to the shore to relax and enjoy the sites and sounds, but not to listen to an announcement that sounds like a carnival barker.
Let’s give Wildwood a little class and come up with a better means of advertising activities at the Convention Center.
This has been going on for several years, and we have lodged complaints, which have fallen on deaf ears.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
