To the Editor:
It is hard to take conservatives seriously when they disparage health care as an entitlement rather than a right for the people and the responsibility of a humane nation.
Conservatives often trivialize the state of health care in America by claiming that the sick are agents of their own misfortune (a cruelty). They have done nothing but criticize the Clintons and former President Obama who have tried to better the state of health care in this country.
