DATELINE – Millions of Americans don’t realize that we have among the cheapest gasoline in the world. In 1947, I traveled to Italy on an art tour. One day, we decided to rent a car, leave the town for a couple of days.
It cost us $40 all the way back then to fill the tank. Just to fill up a little Fiat!
