To The Editor:
The members of Brownie Troop No. 41591 of North Wildwood would like to thank everyone who supported their cookie fundraiser. The girls spent the last few weekends out in the community happily selling their cookies to supportive community members.
Here’s just some of the wonderful things the girls were able to do with the profits of these cookie sales: Purchase gifts for a local girl battling cancer, toiletries and bingo prizes for the residents of Loyalton, food and gifts to brighten a Wildwood family’s Christmas, food for the local food bank, and financial support to a North Wildwood family devastated by medical expenses.
In addition to the girls philanthropy, they were also able to participate in many fun activities such as a hayride and pumpkin picking at Rea’s farm, Disney on Ice, a tea party with the Tea Lady, and “Passport Around the World” at the Wildwoods Convention Center just to name a few.
Much gratitude is extended to all those who purchased cookies from the many cookie booths throughout the community as well as directly from the girls themselves. See you next year.
