To The Editor:
I live along Stone Harbor Boulevard in the Scotch Bonnet section. Under Mayor Michael Voll’s time in office, he cleaned up our environment by stopping septic and cesspool tanks from leaching into the back bay waters. Look at the homes on the boulevard now as a result of his administration cleaning up the environment by running sewer pipes to our homes.
Whenever I called Voll while he was in office, he would either call or stop by and visit with me. I am an older widow that always felt a sense of safety in my home when he was in office.
And I am pleased that he is running as an independent. I like the slogan, “Putting People First.” He always has as far as I’m concerned.
There is an election in November; we have the opportunity to bring back this caring man. If you really care about our town, please consider voting for a real leader, Michel Voll.
