To the Editor:
I am 70 years old and have a home on 47th St. in Sea Isle City.
I have nothing against the new dunes that they built. It would be nice if they kept them clean from all the amount of sand that had covered it over the course of the years.
I would also like to have one of those walking sheets that the other streets have on their path to the beach. Just because my beach doesn’t have a lifeguard doesn’t give them the right to avoid my beach. I pay taxes, too.
Also, why do they rake half of the beach? We still have to get to that half that has been raked.
Please rake all of the beaches, so it’s easier to walk to the water. I love the beach, but being 70, my legs can’t handle all that sand buildup.
