The Republican-controlled council in our town has created an economic disaster for our township, and is the primary reason I cannot support the current councilman. His political ties have helped to generate the possibility of a large tax increase, as well as potential layoffs. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot serve the Republican Party, and serve the people of Lower Township. That is what you have now. With the election of Janet Pitts, Ward 1 will have someone who serves the people, and not a political party. Pitts has already worked hard for our neighborhood, and has stood before council on many occasions as a voice for the people who pay the bills. She is the one person in the election on whom we can count. Vote Column 3 for Janet Pitts.
