To The Editor:
During Holiday Hospitality Night in Lower Township, I tripped and fell on my face in front of the Villas Liquor Store.
I would like to thank the people who helped me: The retired police officer who called 911, the person in the liquor store who brought me the paper towel I held on my head; the Lower Township Rescue Squad that came right away; the lady who helped my grandson with her kind words, and most importantly, to my grandson Paul Aszman, who at 11 years old held it all together and made the calls on my cell phone, thank you.
I went to the ER at Cape Regional Medical Center. I have seven stiches and a very black eye, but it could have been a lot worse. It’s great to have such caring strangers. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you.
