To The Editor:
Over the course of the last three years, it has been my pleasure to serve the citizens as president of the Lower Township Taxpayers Association. As one of the LTTA co-founders, I felt the taxpayers needed a voice and citizen watchdog associations to assure their tax dollars were being spent wisely. With the effort of our board and the support of our members, the LTTA has accomplished many things of benefit to the taxpayers and the community.
I have decided to take my goal of representing the taxpayers’ interest to the next level by running for the position of council member, Ward 1. Our bylaws, rightfully, exclude my holding an officer position in the LTTA, while running for office. I will continue to be a part of the LTTA as a member of this great organization.
I ask for the support of the taxpayers and citizens of the Villas/Fishing Creek area to continue to serve the taxpayers in a new role, as their representative on Lower Township Council.
