To the Editor:
First, let me say, if you think our problems are attributed to one political party or the other, you will not be part of the solution. Leadership under the Republicans is as fractured as it can be. Response from the Democrats is theater at its worst.
We’ve been told it is a mess so we want it fixed. Meanwhile, the U.S. has over 400 billionaires. The next country in line (China) has about one-fourth this amount. We are the promised land.
My family is middle-class America. Each succeeding generation is doing better than the last. Giving them a tax break will not fix the problems of our neediest citizens.
The age old promise of reducing taxes is simply monkey business by our businessmen politicians. Our wealthiest are also our greediest and they are filling the president’s cabinet.
The illegals are lured here by promises of employment from these very people. They are then introduced to the social network so the employer does not have to provide benefits. Our unskilled workers who once filled these positions are now our homeless. Ask our billionaire president how it works.
Speaking of asking, asked not to hide behind the death of a Navy Seal by his father, that’s exactly what he did through the victim’s wife. We are seeing theatrics at every level of our government. And the winner of best actor is … I think Donald Trump’s chances are really promising.
