America Has Been Faltering Since the ‘80s

“Less government is the best government,” said President Reagan in the 1980s. This was the time when they tried to starve the beast. We’ve been faltering ever since. Now they shut down the government?
The Republicans love to cite the foundering fathers who created a government for and by the people. They did not intend to have it shut down. What will happen when we have no police and no fire protection? This is government. No food inspection or air traffic control? This is government. No clean air and water? This too is government.
A WWII Veterans Park was closed because Republicans voted to close it. What did they do? They went to the park to help the vets. The height of hypocrisy. America, your country, has been gradually destroyed over the last 30 years. The chicken hawks led you to wars and the Tea Party shut down your government and you continue to vote for them? Remember the definition of insanity?
The next manufactured crises will be the debt ceiling. Did you know that Reagan raised the ceiling some 17 times with no opposition? Did you know the Bushes raised the debt ceiling multiple times with no opposition to finance their wars? Wars you’re paying for now and for the rest of your lives.
Wake up America, however, it’s probably too late. You want your country back? Get rid of your local congressmen, as well as the inept Tea Party in Congress. Your chance will be in the 2014 midterm elections. Your last chance. But know the Republican party is headed for destruction and rightly so. Whereas, should they rid the party of the so-called leaders like Boehner, McConnel, Bachman and Cruz and assorted troublemakers, they just might survive. Yet they deserve what they get and there will be no weeping when they’re gone. Recall what they displayed to the American people in 2012 by way of their primaries. After which they selected a greedmonger named Romney.
In conclusion, our country has a remote chance to survive, should we reject the Republicans.
