A Democrat’s Dilemma

By Joe Murphy, Town Bank

To the Editor:
With the upcoming election, I, as a Democrat, face a dilemma. Do I vote for Menendez or his opponent?
I’m going for the first, because I don’t want to give Trump another Senate vote, and Menendez never stole money from needy, terminally-ill cancer victims by overcharging for cancer medication.
So, I refer to Mark Twain for advice. I’m reminded of Mark Twain when he said, “The politics and commercial morals of the U.S. are not merely food for laughter, they are the entire banquet.”
I’ll pass on Hugin, and hope that if elected, Menendez will do the right thing and resign.
