Gee, What About 5G?

By Christopher Curley, Cape May

To the Editor:
The abbreviation 5G refers to the fifth generation of wireless technology and infrastructure used to support cellular communication and data transfer. 1G was the first wireless phones back in the ’80s culminating up to our latest 4G LTE networks.
5G represents a quantum leap forward in wireless technology. Currently 5G is operational in 21 U.S. cities. Proponents of 5G are excited about the prospect of self-driving cars, robotic surgery, and way faster download speeds of shows onto a phone or tablet. Opponents of 5G are warning about its dangers to humans, animals, plants, and ecosystems.
The frequency range of the radio waves used in 5G communication is much higher than in previous wireless communication. The wave form is so rapid that they are  micro-waves.
This cellular communication system uses the same type of waves that are used to heat a frozen platter for lunch. These microwaves, while being able to transmit massive amounts of data very quickly, do not travel very far. Therefore, 5G infrastructure requires emitters to be on nearly every light pole throughout a community.
5G requires approximately seven times the number of radiofrequency emitters than the 4G system does. 5G will utilize smaller briefcase size microwave transponders (ovens?) on every light pole blasting their radiation 24/7/365. I hope I don’t have one outside of one of my child’s bedroom.
The biggest health risks 5G poses are to developing fetuses, infants, and to the elderly because of their more sensitive brain tissue and nerve tissue.
Millimeter microwaves excite and heat human tissue (just like they do to that frozen lunch) which accelerates the breakdown and oxidative stress of these cells.
The skin, the eyes, and the reproductive tissue are particularly sensitive to this type of radiation.
5G testing has been shown to be problematic to birds, disrupting migration patterns and reducing population numbers.
Many folks are well aware of the rapid decline of bee populations around the globe. This is known as colony collapse disorder, C.C.D. Studies have this linked and correlated to the proliferation of wireless cellphone technology across the globe.
This bee die-off will increase exponentially with the expansion of 5G infrastructure. Experts say “as the bees go, we all go”. This is the truth.
5G represents an unproven, untested and almost certain to be dangerous technology that is being experimented with on a live population of largely unaware subjects. China has had 5G infrastructure up and running for over one year. 5G has been shown in laboratory studies to increase the spread and proliferation of bacteria and viruses.
As of this writing, two nations: Brussels and Switzerland have put a moratorium on the use of 5G technology. Throughout the United States, there are 10 or so counties that have placed a ban on the installation of 5G infrastructure in their communities. This critical issue is all about awareness and a lack thereof. I hope this article has increased awareness of this dire emergency that we face together.
Let’s work together to find a solution. Let us become more educated on this technology and demand further safety testing.
Let us talk with our lawmakers and representatives and ask them to put human and animal health before corporate profits and faster download speeds.
Let us work together and save ourselves and our home, earth, together.
