To the Editor:
I think that tirade that poured forth from the president is a new low, even for him. It was billed as the National Prayer Breakfast, but, as usual, he turned it into “woe is me” and “everybody hates me” retaliation of people who testified against him, regardless of the fact that testimony was the truth.
I believe the Republicans in the Senate were biased.
One of Trump’s favorite sayings is, “Do we love law enforcement people, or what?” Unfortunately, his words are not matched by his deeds.
The Secret Service has requested additional police protection for public safety at Trump’s rallies that was provided by El Paso, Tuscon, Spokane, Mesa, Eu Claire, Billings, Erie, Lebanon, Green Bay and Burlington.
Each one of these cities sent an invoice, some as old as three years, for a total of $841,219.84, and not one of them have been paid. I’ll bet Wildwood will soon join the list.
