The Odd Couple Now, an updated and abbreviated version of the comedy classic, is being presented by the Ocean City Free Public Library on April 23, at 7 p.m. and at 2 p.m. on April 25. Come out and enjoy the play, free to the public, which will be held in the library’s Lecture Hall located on the 17th St. side of the library.
Taking part in the production are local actors Bette Kaminsky of Ocean City, Sam Sardina and Leanne McGiffin of Galloway, and Scott Higby of Absecon.

A memorable quote from The Odd Couple was when Felix, the neat-freak, while serving refreshments at their usual card game said to Roy, “Where’s your coaster?” Roy says, “I think I bet it.”

Novel News – A book sale, sponsored by friends and volunteers of the Ocean City Free Public Library will be held at the Library Annex, 15th and West Ave. The sale takes place on April 23, from 3 to 8 p.m. and on April 24, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. For more information, contact the annex at 609-525-9444.

Get ready, get set, go to the big yard sale – Always a fun event, the city-wide yard sale in Ocean City takes place at the Tabernacle Grounds, 5th and Wesley Ave., and at homes throughout the town on Saturday, April 24, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.
There will also be table sales in the downtown area, from 6th to 11th Sts. along Asbury Ave. For further information, call 609-398-4662.

Time out for toddlers – The Ocean City Free Public Library presents Toddler Time for two and three year olds on Friday mornings from 10 to 10:30 a.m. until the end of May at the Library Annex, 1501 West Ave. The program, which is free and open to the public, will feature stories, music, and puppets.
There will also be a program for babies from 11:00 to 11:20 every Wednesday morning.

Computer tutor – April computer classes at the Technology Education Center at the Cape May County Library, include Friday, April 23, “Software” and Thursday, April 29, “Introduction to EBSCO host.” The Center is located at 30 Mechanic Street in Court House. Workshops are held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Classes are limited to eight individuals. Pre-registration and a valid library card are required. To register, please call 609-463-6341 and leave your name, telephone number, and the name of the workshop you want to attend.
