“I-rish” you much mirth today, St. Patrick’s Day, and also on Friday, at the “Farewell to St. Patrick’s Day” Irish Hooley which will take place from 6-10 p.m. at the Deauville Inn, Willard Road and the Bay in Strathmere.
The event is presented by Frank McCall and the Ocean City Repertory Theater.
The South Jersey Ceili Band will perform audience favorites, including Irish ballads and songs, while the Jersey Shore Irish Dancers, led by Ed and Bonnie Quigley, will entertain with jigs and reels, and Repertory Theater actors will read Irish poetry and short stories.
Tickets are $35 per person, which includes dinner and entertainment. The event will benefit the Ocean City Repertory Theater’s artistic and education programs.

Mom-to-Mom Group – This group, where mothers can meet and discuss the challenges of early parenthood, is hosted by Shore Memorial Hospital. The group meets every Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Jenkins Conference Room at the hospital.

Teen Advisory Board – Teens between the ages of 12 and 18 are invited to take part in the Teen Advisory Board, which will be meeting tomorrow from 6 to 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Board Room at the Main Branch of the Library in Court House at 30 Mechanic St.

Ocean City High School Band’s Annual Pasta Dinner will be served on Friday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the high school cafeteria, Sixth and Atlantic Avenue. Take out will be available at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. The Ocean City Jazz Band and Jazz Rock Ensemble will entertain.
