Old Navy Moving Into Former Bed, Bath & Beyond

RIO GRANDE – Old Navy, an international clothing retailer, is planning to open a store in Grande Center in Rio Grande in September, an Old Navy spokesperson confirmed.

Rumors of the move had been circulating long before the sign went up in front of the former Bed, Bath & Beyond in Rio Grande. The sign announced the opening in the fall and said they will be hiring. The spokesperson said more information would be forthcoming.

Old Navy, based in San Francisco, is an American clothing and accessories retailing company owned by multinational corporation Gap Inc. Old Navy has flagship stores in New York City, Seattle, Chicago, San Francisco, Manila and Mexico City. It was founded in 1994 and last year had revenues of $8.2 billion.
